This brings back the sights, sounds, some fragrances, and almost the feel of the wicked cold wind on our faces as we walked from the guest house to the Chapel each day approximately 5-6 times a day. What beautiful memories of the close walk with our Lord each day and how he showed us his love through our friendships and our family. This trip is irreplaceable and unforgettable. It will be forever imprinted in our memories and it will be something that we will revisit time and time again in the stillness of the presence of our Lord for it is the same presence here in St. Joseph's Catholic Church as in St. Mary Major as well as in St. Peters and Quarr. We can feel the Love of the Lord especially if we are open to his love through the sacraments and through the grace that is given. Thank you Lord for your soft hand in mine as I pray and thank you for your loving touch on my shoulder when I am weak. I am forever grateful for these profound memories of our pilgrimage to Rome London Oxford and Quarr!
